Medisoft version 14 is compatible with Microsoft VISTA Business Premium.  Medisoft is not recommending or supporting  Vista Home or Vista Ultimate.

We at MBA of NEPA are continuing to recommend Windows XP Pro as the preferred operating system.  Although it is difficult to purchase a PC "off the shelf" with Windows XP, there are some models of  Dell and HP that are available. 

Additionally, it is not recommended to purchase a Vista computer and then downgrade to XP, since there may not be XP drivers available for all of the installed components.  If you wish to run Vista we recommend at least 2GB of RAM, since the operating system itself uses a large amount of memory.

Medisoft Basic and Medisoft Advanced have been run on Windows Vista with no system configuration.  However, Medisoft Network will require some additional setup.  You must have mapping of network drives enabled on your system  and be able to access a Medidata network share from all workstations prior to our installation.  If network setup on your system is not complete additional charges may be incurred.
